Skin Specialists School of Esthetics is a privately owned esthetician school located on Robeson Street in Fayetteville. It’s about a mile down from the med spa, Skin Specialists of Fayetteville. Our program will successfully prepare our students to pass the North Carolina state boards while earning their required 600 credit hours. Our curriculum will go a step beyond the typical school because we will be implementing much more than the minimum requirements of the state board! Our goal will be to incorporate the importance of science and anatomy of esthetics into our program.
To be accepted into our program, you must first complete the application which is linked below. It is required that you complete the entire application to include the essay. After completing your application, we will reach out to you to schedule a “meet and greet.” We use this time to introduce ourselves, learn a little about you and your life goals, and also to give you a tour of our beautiful school! All of these steps must be met in order for you to be enrolled in our program.
Tuition in total is $12,000. To secure a seat in the upcoming class, you must pay a $1,000 non-refundable deposit. This does go toward your tuition balance. If this deposit will be paid by credit card, there will be a 3% charge to cover processing fees. If your plan to pay for tuition involves obtaining a loan from a bank or other financial institution, then your remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to class beginning. If you plan to pay cash, then your due date is also 30 days prior to the start of class. If you plan to use our in-house financing option, then you must let us know as soon as possible so that we can get you started on that process.
Our in-house financing requires no credit check and is zero interest if you choose to pay it back within six months. If you choose to extend payments to 12 months, then there will be a credit check, and it’ll have a 10% interest rate. To use this option, you must pay a $3,000 deposit that’s due 30 days prior to class beginning. (This will be in lieu of the $1,000 deposit.) Then when your class begins, you’ll make your monthly payments the first week of every month until your tuition is paid in full. For more information on this option, please let us know if you’re interested, and we can send you our late payment policy and a copy of the in-house financing contract for you to review. If you fail to make your payments, your account will be sent to collections and will reflect on your credit.

Military Tuition AssistanceTo finance your tuition we highly recommend you first check with your local bank. This is typically where you’ll find the best interest rates and longer payment times with smaller payments.
We offer financing through Flexxbuy, which checks your qualifications with several third-party finance companies. They run a soft check on your credit score to see if you qualify. This will also be your source to begin the process for our in-house financing, so we recommend you complete this application at the same time as the school application.

We are partnered with Associated Skin Care Professionals, the largest association for licensed estheticians. Here, you will have access to webinars, discounts on insurance policies, continuing education, and more.
We have also recently partnered with Shaylee Hancock (@glowsissocial), who is a marketing guru for estheticians. With over 35,000 Instagram followers, she has clients from around the world. She teaches how to maximize your potential using social media with low-stress marketing methods.
During your time with us, you’ll also take several field trips to medical spas, wellness centers, supply stores, and privately owned esthetician suites, which will allow you to visualize the many options you have to begin your career as a licensed esthetician!
Our night class times will be Monday-Friday from 5-9 p.m. Our daytime class will be Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Completing 600 credit hours will take roughly 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 months, depending on which route you choose.
As mentioned earlier, uniforms are covered with your tuition, and the colors will be black or olive green. You’re able to choose either color or one of each! These will be available for you to pick up at Castle Uniforms once your deposit is paid. Shoes are not covered and they must be all black and close-toed. Name tags and a jacket will also be included in your uniforms.
